Portrait of Loni Rose
I love it! I have had a total blast pursuing music. I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a number of phenomenal artists like Brandi Carlile, Chris Isaak, Shawn Mullins, Vertical Horizon, Buddy Guy, Blues Traveler, Everclear, Emerson Hart, Shawn Colvin, and Jonatha Brooke. Along the way, as I’ve been writing albums, playing live, and developing my fan base, I’ve also had tremendous success with my music being placed in Film & Television. The first time I heard one of my songs on TV was during the Academy Awards. My song, "Let Me Go Back" was the song in the promo spot for NBC's, The 10th Kingdom. I was so happy, I danced around the room. You’ve probably heard my songs in movies like American Pie, Life Without Dick, The 10th Kingdom, Lovewrecked, A Perfect Romance and Bonneville. You might have also heard me singing in television shows like America’s Top Model, Bad Girls Club, Road Rules, Meet My Folks, Roswell, Providence, and Jack & Jill. I’m thrilled to be signing a deal right now with Riptide Music in Los Angeles, California. Riptide will be exclusively representing my songs for Film & TV! They are a fabulous company and I’m excited to be partnering with them. I am currently writing for my next album as I continue to support and promote my newest album, The Shine Sessions. I’m so proud of this record! It was produced by the super talented Dwight A. Baker in Austin Texas at Matchbox Studios. During the Shine Sessions, two top notch and truly amazing musicians Davey French and Sammy Hudson, of the rock band Everclear, joined us in the studio. I’m thrilled that Davey & Sammy will also be supporting the album with me this summer! The full length Shine album with bonus tracks is scheduled for release Spring 2008.
