Portrait of j.wride
j.wride was formed in the first part of 2009. At the time, the band consisted of two members, Jesse Wride on the keys, and Austin Anderson on the drum set. The two had a history playing together in various bands and venues, for a period of just about 6 years. They both began performing at a young age, and through practice and undeniable hard work, they became magnificent musicians and performers. Jesse began writing songs which later became the album "Work of Art" in January of 2009, when Austin returned from service abroad. During their time together the band has been featured on Park City TV, Fox 13 News, and other special broadcasts. j.wride was also featured in many articles, one of the most prestigious being The Daily Herald, a premier UT newspaper, in an article titled "Riding With MIMS." Due in large part to all of the great fans, advertising, numerous articles and TV spots, j.wride has a massive following in UT, and in other parts of the world. j.wride produced their first full length album during that period from May till November '09. The album did extremely well selling numerous copies in the first couple months following the release in November '09. Jesse made an acquaintance while living in Washington D.C. and his good friend Courtenay Eccles, an astounding bassist, jumped at the opportunity to be a part of this very talented, and very successful group which in turn completed the ensemble. j.wride is now in studio working on their second highly anticipated full length album titled "Ozone" which will feature many of the crowds favorite songs such as Capulett, and "Let Me Go." They recently finished and released the track "Let Me Go" feat MIMS, which also gave them an opportunity to perform the new single with him in front of a crowd of nearly 1000 avid concert goers. j.wride is here to stay, and many amazing opportunities are on the horizon.
