Stories Unfold is a new local up and coming Missouri band from St. Louis and they are hitting the music scene with passion, talent, charisma and most importantly great sounding music. Their rock with some acoustic sound is a delight to hear and is a refreshing reminder that good rock music still exists in today’s world of over produced pop music.
From the very first note from their hit single “Southern Girl” you cannot help but be hooked. Then when the electric guitar drops in, you know this band is for real. Their rock sound and deep genuine lyrics set them apart from other new rock bands that hit the scene and quickly fade away. Their other hit song, “When Will She Be Mine,” showcases their musical range as a band and shows why it is hard to classify them as just alternative rock because they are so much more than that. Their live concert features many original songs as well as covers from Dave Matthews Band and The Frey. Stories Unfold is a great live charismatic young band that features great music and you surely will not be disappointed with their performance.
The origins of Stories Unfold started back in January 2010 when guitarist Andy Weiss met guitarist Brent Eggers. Soon after meeting and playing together, Andy and Brent introduced Josh Agne as the lead vocalist when he came onto the scene with “When Will She Be Mine,” the first of many songs that would speak to the hearts of the fans and be relatable to audiences of all ages. The three soon brought on bassist Richard Brown, as the band continued to grow creatively. Recently with the new addition of drummer Philip McIntyre, you cannot help but hear the various musical influences of the group but the band has no trouble in making the sound all their own. Stories Unfold is a band that is sure to ignite passion in hearts and sooth the minds of their fans.
Right now, they are auditioning for the St. Louis Got Talent show with other local St. Louis bands and they are preparing for their big Halloween show on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Cicero's Annual Halloween Bash.
