Judge for Jamie Notarthomas

Proffessional Original Songwriter and performer since 1987. Performs primarily in the Northeastern U.S. with a band or solo, sometimes for 3 to 4 hours without a break. With an emphisis on poetic lyrical form and soulful vocals this music trancends generations. A sincere and inspired artist who's four original CD's are a mix of musical styles, influenced by what Jamie calls the apostles of rock and roll, such as John Lennon, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis Costello, Bob Marley, Leonard Cohen, Peter Gabriel, Luis Jordon, Bruce Cockburn and James Taylor etc. Jamie will occassionally perform a whole evenings study of any one of these great musicians. Recorded with Trey Anastasio, Jon Popper and more. Has performed on stage with musicians such as Patti Smith, Allen Tousant, Rick Danko among others. Jamie has opened up for dozens of great artists including Bob Dylan, Tori Amos, David Byrne Melissa Ethridge, Rosanne Cash, Rusted Root, Loretta Lynn, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, Waren Zevon and Dave Mason.
