Portrait of Stir the Silence
If it's too loud you're too old! Stir the Silence is a Texas Heavy Metal band that makes no apologies when it comes to their sound. This band is aggressive, powerful and in your face. Mixing influences from the best thrash, hardcore, and Texas metal, they have steadily been making a name for themselves everywhere they go.

Stir the Silence was formed in late 2006 in Fort Worth, Texas by founding members Wulgang Miles (ex-Within Chaos) and Jeremy Cochran. They released a 3-song demo in 2007 and quickly began making waves in Texas metal and hardcore scene. Shortly after Danny Reid (ex-Within Chaos) jumped on board bringing a whole new level of intensity to the band. With the new lineup, they holed up in the studio with Gabe Ayala at GMA STUDIOS and they released their first full-length album "AS THE WORLD BURNS" on September 13th, 2008. Soon after, the band was joined by Joel Bailey (ex-Society's Finest) on bass. With the lineup complete, the band is poised to make a mark on the metal world.

Danny Reid's explosive and emotional display of vocal ability is gripping and thought provoking for the listener. Wulfgang Mile's grinding solos and heavy thrash-laden riffs hit you like a train wreck on top of Joel Bailey's thunderous and technical bass playing. Jeremy Cochran's intense and physical drumming style, provides a backbone that is crushing and furious and always leaves you wanting more. This band will leave an impression on you no matter what, and there's little you can do about it. You might as well admit that you fucking love Texas Metal!!
