Portrait of minusafew
First, imagine everything you know to be true about hip-hop music. The glorification of violence. The romanticizing of big guns and even bigger jewelry. The objectification of women. Now, throw all of that out the window and let's go back to the drawing board. Introducing MiNus A Few

"Without progress, there is no movement." Upon entering into the studio to record their first official project, three young men forged a commitment to excellence and the pursuit of growth. Hip Hop needs them. But even more importantly, the world has been waiting on the arrival of such a revolutionary voice in music. They're vision is simple. Change

This eclectic band of emcees from Georgia emerged from complete obscurity to take their local hip-hop community by surprise. These up and coming wordsmith created a buzz, bringing an independent brand of what they refer to as "Progressive Hip-Hop Music", to the forefront

Performing in talent showcases, competing in battles, and making radio appearances helped booster an already growing group of supporters. Originally breaking in with the hip-hop collective known as Forbidden Dialect, members Amorphouz and Open each stood out as very animated emcees with incredible wit, gaining recognition on the strength of their clever style of lyricism

Whether it's in a freestyle cypher, recording booth, or live on stage performing, Open manages to always come off as the epitome of a well-polished lyricist. How did he do it? "I'm constantly writing. I cycle through rhymes in my head nonstop and stay penning new ones. In order to perfect my craft, I honed my skills, plain and simple.

Known for versatility and the ability to tackle a wide range of subjects with ease, MiNus A Few hopes to tap into their unlimited amount of potential and translate that into musical success.
