Portrait of Pat Kelly
Please become a fan of PAT KELLY & THE CORE

There are things in my life I would have changed but, if I did...what would I write about?" said firmly with tongue in cheek. p. kelly

Pat Kelly, multi-instrumentalist/songwriter/producer/arranger has been playing professionally since the age of 12. Over the years, Kelly has performed with Ian Hunter, Mick Ronson (David Bowie), Tony ‘Wild T’ Springer, Basia Lyjak, Jeff Burke, The Star Combo (John Gustafson, Griff Griffiths, Tony Newman, Howie Casey, Roy Young.), Michael White, The Temptations and Alan Frew (Glass Tiger). Kelly has even played for her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In the 90's Kelly spent his time doing voice work for radio, television and movies. He was the frontman for After Ours and The Sweet Vibe Orchestra. Kelly has produced albums/singles and garnered clandestine acclaim in the music industry as a prolific songwriter and collaborator.

Presently, Kelly is in the studio with producer John Jamieson (Soundhouse Studios) and The Core.

In regards to Kelly's songs,"...his words are vignettes, his voice and songs, with their many changes, make it impossible for one to peg him, classify him, as though he is consciously refusing to sound like something we have all heard before. This concentrated talent is rare."
