About the Artist

I'm a 24yr old poetress trying to make a change through music. I've been writing poetry for 10 years, but just recently started sharing in the last 2. I was born in the gutter and raised in the streets. So all my work comes from life and what I've seen and gone through since I've been living mine. I'm not looking for a huge fan base, but I am looking to open peoples eyes to reality. Because we all want change but no one is willing to be the first to fight for it. So I'm taking a stand, and hoping to turn a flicker into a flame... Everything I say is from the soul so if you don't like it then I really don't know what to you cause that's what it is! A lotta yawl cats mix spoken word up with rap but let me say right now what I and others like myself do AIN'T RAP so please don't get it twisted !!! But it is an art form that needs to be respected cause the game been sleeping on us for too long. But I gurantee you as soon as we get a channel up in here we gone take ourstage and everything else along with it by storm... We just waiting to get a foot in the door. So if you not a fan of what I do I hope you take the time to listen to it anyways cause my words are deep and real. I promise to make you think. I'm out one love....
