T-Bird was raised up around music his whole life. If the radio wasn't playing, someone was singing or playing guitars in the house. While growing up he played drums and trombone in the church band and then continued up until 11th grade in high school band. He also attended a couple of years at the Star Lake band camp playing the drums during the summer.
At an early age, he began co-writing songs for the gospel group, The Agape Singers, of which he was the lead singer, along with his brother on bass and sister as harmony. Not long after he attended college to become a respiratory therapist.
It wasn't long before his extracurricular activities included heading out to the bars, time permitting and playing songwriter rounds with his brother and singing. After finishing school, he once again began to write country songs based on his experiences. Of course, this was soon followed by one of many trips to Nashville. This lead to the recording of their song, "Boogie Till It Hurts", which was placed on a compilation CD.
After being away from Nashville for a few years, he started attending songwriter festivals in Key West and Nashville and joined the NSAI. T-Bird has returned from these events writing songs with deeper emotions and views of life as he lives it. In addition to songwriting, he sings and plays the drums, guitar and bass.
