Like others I'm just passing through time as I try to leave something behind that might make your day a little better. A word or two, maybe a phrase that might stick in your mind. I'm not trying to change the world. It's not going to change no matter what I write. I just write 'em as I see 'em
Handy Man Songs came about after I did a "Handy Man" trade with a fellow named Joe Gallow. Joe had a small studio in his basement. He needed a few repairs completed in his house. So I asked if I could trade a couple hours of work for a couple hours of studio time and he agreed. Nothing fancy just a microphone and my guitar.
Like most songwriters I got a box full of songs. I just showed up, with a couple of lyric sheets, and did a couple of takes for each song. A couple of the songs were written while I was a rambling man. While the others are current with what's going on in the world.
I don't perform often but can if the opportunity presents itself.
I'm just trying to get my songs heard. Maybe someone will like them and we could go back into a studio and arrange them properly.
