Technical Requirements
Out and Runnin’
Sound Equipment Requirements
We require:
1. A minimum of 12 channel mixing console.
2. Three monitor cabinets on stage.
3. One Shure Beta 58 or equivalent microphone for each of the following; guitarist's vocal, Guitar, Banjoist’s vocal, Banjo, Dobroist vocal, Dobro, and one open microphone cord for bassist.
4. Cables for all microphones.
5. Boom stands for all microphones.
Our microphone setup is described as follows; front row includes from audience Left to Right; Dobro, Guitar, Banjo, with bass in the back between dobro and guitar. 2 monitors spaced between dobro/guitar and guitar/banjo. 1 monitor placed to bassest left.
NOTES
- All mics should be set hot without squealing. We will work them in and out. Once the levels are set
no mixing is required on the board or monitors unless requested.
- Monitors should be set as "side-fills" using one mix.
