About the Artist

At the age of two, Reggie was sitting with his family watching TV when suddenly a commercial with a catchy jingle caught his attention. He quickly ran to the piano and began to play the melody. That is how it all began. Reginald O’Keith Varnado Jr. is a pop/R&B vocalist/bassist from New Orleans who according to well-known bassist, Chris Severin, has the sound everyone’s been waiting to hear.As a graduate of the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA), Reggie is a fellow alumnus with renowned musicians such as Wynton Marsalis, Terrence Blanchard, and Harry Connick Jr. Now, getting ready to graduate from the University of New Orleans (UNO) with a BA in Jazz Studies, Reggie is ready to take his music to the next level.
