NAME: THOMAS TAYLOR ALIAS: YUNG CAPP AKA THE LION KING AKA YUNG C-A- DOUBLE UP THE P!! AKA LEADER OF L.D.E. (LOYALTY DOMINATES EVERYTHING)
I was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised and numerous places from all coasts literally. Raised by my mother my whole adolescent, same story didn’t know my pops until I got older and still didn’t rock with him until just recently. I grew up in the hood but for most of my younger years my mother kept me secluded from the world so all I really had was my books and my music. I started off listening to old school singers and mainly Michael Jackson and thought I was going to be a singer and dancer. I always wrote poetry and songs since the age of 8 but it wasn’t until my 11th birthday that hip hop took over. I was given a Tupac cassette tape and I heard “point the finga” for the first time, from then on I was transformed from an aspiring singer to an aspiring lyricist.
To sum up my musical life it’s been opportunities and I kept missing em either from my own stupidity or reasons out of my control, it just was not happening but I never stopped writing and expressing my music. First being when I was 14 and a manager wanted to sign me and some friends but he wanted us to rap about kiddy stuff, the problem was I rapped about what I saw everyday and experienced personally and it wasn’t kiddy. But once I got older and thought back on it that was an outlet I could have tapped into. Next arrests and personal issues caused me to vacate the biggest chance to date that I had at making it but I refused to let myself regret it and pushed on.
I along with my now life long brothers Yung E and Wize1ne, created this L.D.E. thing and together we have been pushing to get our message heard grinding even harder with our music and finally getting to a place where there are no excuses for us either the world with like it or they won’t and I am so ready to see.
