Portrait of "LIL NO" THE CAMPAIGN 2012

While collaborating with some of Houston's hip hop royalty, Lil No (Short for Notorious) has unquestionably shown that he possesses all the qualities needed to receive the “KING” crown of hip hop in the music industry. A native of Houston, Texas “Lil' No” was officially born Kennis Green. With his striking good looks, charismatic personality and physical physique of 6'5”, No is what the south calls “The Best Kept Secret.” Lil' No grew up on the Southwest side of Houston, Texas infatuated with two loves, basketball and the rap culture. Lil' No's skill on the hardwood garnered the attention of many college programs before he finally accepted a basketball scholar-ship to New Mexico State University. It wasn't until a basketball injury ended his hoop career that No decided to leave his first love of basketball to become a lyrical genius on the stage. Lil' No has received quite a buzz due to the high street demand of his fist single featuring Lil' Keke. “So Throwed.” In addition to success in Houston, this attainment has brought No's name into prominence with neighboring states such as Louisiana and Mississippi. The single “So Throwed” was extremely successful in Louisiana making radio station KKST top 4 countdown in three weeks. Aiming to hit hard with his first project, Lil' No carefully put together his materials while cleverly assembling collaborations with other Houston hip hop artists, such as Lil' Keke, Big Hawk, Trae and ESG. Lil' No has finished working on over 2000 songs throughout his extensive 10 year underground career starting when he was 16 now 26 he can contend with the experience that one would find in the ages of T.I, Lil Wane, Jeezy, and etc. His music is feeding the fan's hunger for something fresh and new in the music industry. In listening to his rhymes, you know Lil' No is a student of the hip hop culture and speaks to the mass of young and old hip hop junkies.
