She has literally taken the entire state of Indiana by storm, bringing audiences to their feet in a wide variety of venues from Oprys to festivals to fairs to clubs to private functions throughout the state of Indiana.

Friday Night Performers" Linda Lee and the Noble Creek Band takes the Main Stage at 6:30 p.m. Friday to open for Lee Greenwood. This set of performers has literally taken the entire state of Indiana by storm, bringing audiences to their feet in a wide variety of venues from Oprys to festivals to fairs to clubs to private functions throughout the state of Indiana.

There may be several thousands or mere dozens in the audience. Yet Linda Lee is eager to help anytime she's asked to sing for a good cause. She said playing local fundraisers, fairs and festivals help her get seen and heard. But most of all, singing to local folks is her way to give back to the community. Lee, who aspires to be a singer and songwriter in Nashville, Tenn., is working everyday to achieve that dream. She will headline the Lights Over Morse Music Festival on Sunday, just before the fireworks. She will also be the opening act for The Wright Brothers at the July 24 Noblesville Street Dance and opening act for country music star Lee Greenwood Sept. 10 at Tipton Pork Festival. She performed Sunday at Noblesville Golf & Batting Center's 12th annual Cystic Fibrosis Day that raised $1,750 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Lee sings every chance she gets to promote her new album, "Keep On," which she recorded in February in Nashville, a first for Lee.

Meet Linda Lee - Hamilton County's Newest Rising Star" Upon meeting singer Linda Lee, two aspects of her personality immediately shine through: First, she is the "anti-diva" - warm, sincere, gracious; Second, she really enjoys making music. In fact, when asked which she preferred - stage or studio - she doesn't hesitate. "Oh, the stage," she says, beaming. Lee decided that she wanted to continue the pursuit of her dream of a musical career. With that in mind, she also decided that she needed a band. ....the Noble Creek Band, Linda Lee's performance group, was formed in 2009. Soon, Linda Lee and the Noble Creek Band found themselves booked into numerous venues in Northern Indiana, and shortly thereafter, around the Midwest. It wasn't long before Lee's voice caught the ears of Misty Records founder Don Jones. Nashville-based Misty Records, an independent label with a 43-year history, is where Lee would eventually cut her latest CD, Keep On
