I wrote this song when I first moved to NYC, in a roach-infested, un-airconditioned room so small that my keyboard wouldn't fit! It was an emotional time-the tune is about making the wrong choices in love and life in general. It's actually a positive message in the chorus, "I've Had Enough" of catering to others.
