PlayI Forget Sometimes

by Michelle Hemmer

Written by Michelle Hemmer and her husband Brian Woznicki. This is an up-tempo grungy rock song about a person with Alzheimer's Disease who is trying to communicate with family and friends to make them understand why she/he acts the way he/she does. It's a painful look at the disease from the inside / out.

Just discovered "Beautiful Seconds." In four CDs Michelle hasn't written a bad song. She's perfected her craft well, and "I Forget Sometimes" is a good example. Sometimes her writing is haunting, even dark, but always brilliant. And the production with the harmonies just rounds out great music to listen to. I hope I have the opportunity to hear her live someday.
