The Way It Was

by Dail Martin

The Way It Was, by Dail Martin on OurStage
I put my flute music "Believe" to some images that I feel strongly about in terms "The First Nations". I was deeply touched by the PBS production of "We Shall Remain" This video reflects "The Trail of Tears" Hope it touches your heart. I am dedicating this video to the memory of Wilma Mankiller 1945-2010 the former Chief of the Cherokee Nation.

Dail. I mistakenly left this comment on your other video when I was watching them both the other sorry I've added a little more to this comment as well
you've done wonderful with your vid..Couldn't take my eyes off it ..Is that a white Buffalo...? Pardon my ignorance..what an extraordinary looking animal.. Can't help not to be affected emotionally by the imagery combined with your beautiful track.,I also just finished reading about "Wilma Mankiller" and her work..sounds like she was an incredible woman with grit, and the passion and knowledge to stand up for what was right and what she believed was fair.

Really looking forward to seeing more of your video's Dail..keep up the great work..xox
