When I wrote this song I was trying to enforce this feeling of safety and security, I wanted to use a rainbow as a visual aid to help explain the song.
When you see a rainbow that means the storm is over, just like when you see the eyes of your loved one, you know that everything is going to be okay. Think of "Rainbow Eyes" not just as a song, but rather a new way to describe to your love just how safe and secure you feel when you look into their eyes.
