Born on Withrow Street in Toronto. Grew up in the country, had many invisible friends, played on hay bails, my mother, a singer, my father, a writer, in their spare time, and hearts. Went to live in Zimbabwe at 17. Wandered. Started many things. Worked for ngos, for corps, for the gov., for myself. Studied Chinese medicine, environmental science, meditation and the human brain. Learned to value my mother’s lessons. Spent a lot of time getting comfortable in my skin and the last 12 years making this album.
