"I Wasn't A Friend" is an emotionally charged Modern Rock ballad about the grief and devastation of not stopping a friend from driving drunk. IWAF was recently heard on the season 2 opener of "Celebrity Rehab 2" on VH1. Thanks to Vicky Adair for creating the graphic for the song.

I agree what you said about that other song. Only I don't think it's less modern. I don't think it's modern, at all. It doesn't even belong in this channel, one bit.

Thanks for commenting and yes, it's all good. I'm not concerned in the least about it, just wanted to respond to the comment. Funny thing is... the person who made the comment has a song in this channel which is LESS "modern" in production than mine is! Go figure... people are funny sometimes! I wished 'em well, though. It was way too silly of a comment to even get upset about. It was more like I needed to be an educator, than anything else. I've been doing this awhile, needless to say! LOL

YEP I have to agree with Paul. Your song is PERFECTLY fit for Modern Rock, Lynn. Too bad a few of them here are NOT. Clearly, some artists just don't have a CLUE what real MODERN rock IS all about! Ugh...

In response to the previous comment...that's an easy answer....right in the intro is a backwards guitar loop created in ProTools with a MODERN effect that didn't even exist just a few years ago. That alone qualifies it as modern and it IS a rock tune. Come on, boys... silly, silly comment! Best of luck to you, though!
