If anyone thought the South has offered the best it has to give obviously has not met, seen or heard of Mike Murk. Hailing from the city of Waycross, GA he has goals that involve getting his hometown the respect it deserves. At the age of 15 he began writing lyrics until he was finally given the opportunity to record in a studio by his now close friend Calvin Smith. Mike always loved music so for him to witness his own music that was created by his genius was one of his best feelings and he never looked back. Not only is he a skilled songwriter, he is also an outstanding stage performer. His music tells stories, so when he acts his lyrics out on stage its like watching a motion picture. There are not many artists that have the hunger, drive and dedication this young man has displayed to everyone taking notice. Most artists look for fame and fortune, but Mike Murk's main inspiration is taking care of his family so they will always have what they need. He is now working with super producer Sir Buck to elevate his status and release some of the best music coming out of the United States.
