About Aly'an

Harrodsburg, KY

They have been described as vibrant, effortless and intoxicating. Others claim they could be the next rock and roll “Heart” of country music. For some, it only takes two words to sum them up: show stopping. Strong words, yet well-earned for the young but seasoned rockin’ country duo the entertainment world has come to know as Aly’an. With small town roots and big stage dreams, Alyson Burke and Andrea Warner are hitting the country music scene full throttle!!

The girls have been life-long school friends, whose similar love for music brought them together as a duet act, performing locally and regionally. Influences from the Dixie Chicks to Journey have helped mold the energetic stage presence that the girls command. Music for Aly’an isn’t just a hobby; it is a way of life. “This is what we want to do with our lives. We don’t think we could be truly happy doing anything but singing and performing.” states Aly’an. And that is just what they plan to do in 2011 with their much anticipated self-titled debut album.

“Aly’an” will be the first album released with independent music label, Canopy Music Group, an opportunity that the girls attribute to a hot, muggy August evening in Pineville, KY. They had just finished up their one hour concert as opener for headlining act Bucky Covington, when they were approached by a man claiming to have music industry ties. “We kind of just smiled and nodded, not taking him seriously. We had heard the whole ‘I know somebody in the business’ line so many times before and had become kind of numb to the concept of it ever being a real connection.” the girls state. However, his ties were very real, and his intrigue with the girls’ stage presence and mass appeal led him to purchase a CD and pass on their music to a close friend who happened to be a Nashville producer. Long story short, the producer made a trip to West Virginia to watch the girls open up for Confederate Railroad and hopefully someday, they will claim the rest is history. The girls have since signed with Canopy Music Group and created what many music industry insiders consider an extraordinary work of music.

The “in your face” live shows will separate Aly’an from the rest of the pack in the country music scene. Aly’an has the drive, desire and determination to make an impact of longevity in the roller coaster business of music. The girls are ready to take their next big step… and let the music do the talking.
