"SHIFTING STARS & DISREGARDS" will be releasing AUGUST 23rd, 2008, with a special CD release show at the PLAZA THEATER in Downtown Orlando.
Orlando, FL based AMBERTONE is a modern rock/alternative band formed in 2005 by singer/guitarist Greg Pontoni and drummer Ian Buddha. With a focus on great songwriting, musicianship, image, and an exceptional live show, they have been able to play some of the premiere venues in the country and shared the stage with several national acts in the past 2 years
In 2008, AMBERTONE began recording a full length CD with platinum selling musician/producer Casey Daniel of Seven Mary Three. The CD consisting of 11 original tracks features guest performances by Hugo Ferreira of Tantric (SMG), and Thomas Juliano of Seven Mary Three (ICON). Casey Daniel is also currently representing the band
AMBERTONE has organized and been involved with benefit shows for the American Red Cross, Rock Against Domestic Violence, and Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge. They have played up and down the east coast, have a loyal following in Florida and Michigan, and played the Florida Music Festival in 2006 and 2008 on the Wall St Stage.
