Just a real quick note: My name is Ashley Christine Coccia or Ashlotte. I was born in December of 1982, in Dallas, TX. I was put up for adoption as a baby and "shipped" to Minnesota at abouth 5 months old to live with my adoptive family. Sadly, I have no connection to my birth family, so I am clueless as to where all my talents comes from. I write, sing, and sound engineer every song myself at home in my spacious dining room. I write songs in every genre... from Hip-Hop to Alternative, Pop to R&B, Country to Christian, I do it all because I just plain LOVE music! I do what I can with the equipment I have and make the best of it. I hope to make a living someday off of my writing ability as I have over 500 written and recorded original songs in my library and I keep 'em coming. I have been involved in music since age 3, starting out on stage in Chicago performing in musicals. I now reside in Pittsburgh, PA, and occasionally travel between New York and LA writing and recording songs for various well-known producers and artists. I wait very patiently for my talent to pay off. I am now earning my Bachelors degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice because I am almost as passionate about helping people as I am music; if fact, I plan on combining the two fields to help counsel others through musical outlet. Music rescued me, I'm positive it can do the same for others coping with pain in their lives. Well, I'm not one to sit here and list all my musical accomplishments... writing contests, album releases, interviews, TV appearances, etc., so I'll wrap this up by saying thanks for stopping by and takin the time to read my VERY informal biography...
