About Barbara Sheree
After conquering the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Charts for 10 weeks in 2010 and performing in Washington, DC in front of Nation’s Capital Building with an attendance of 350,000 people, Barbara Sheree ended the year with a bang! She performed New Years Eve in Casablanca, Morocco.
It’s rare and daring for a new artist to enter the hip hop dominated music market in the United States these days as a dance/pop act, while in Europe this is commonplace.
Enter Barbara Sheree. Without a doubt she is the pre-eminent new voice to brazenly emerge with a bevy of pop dance hits and a team of producers, remixers, promoters, publicists and a record label to back her in the United States.
Barbara Sheree was a member of Patti Labelle's Boom Boom choir. In 2007 they performed on NBC's Clash of the Choirs, on which Barbara performed a solo to Mary J Blige’s "No More Drama" for the show's finale, viewed by over 8 million countrywide.
She has both opened for and performed on the same stage as Patti Labelle, Verneesa Mitchell, Deepa Soul, Barbara Tucker, Melissa Morgan, Jessye Norman, Donnie Mcclurkin, Deborah Cox, Keith Sweat, Pamela Knight, Yolanda Adams, Lisa Lisa, Doug E. Fresh, Musiq, Al B. Sure and Kem.
Barbara Sheree is also an actress. She is the lead in the play “Show & Tell”. Performances of the play have been in Washington, DC, New York City and Atlanta, Ga.
In short, Barbara Sheree is a young, gifted talent who is bound to inspire many with her writing and captivate the world with a voice so amazing that it commands attention.
