Boondock Holmes

Born and raised in Roberta, Georgia, Boondock Holmes has emerged as one of Troy, Alabama's finest MCs. Growing up, there was always a love for music and writing, but it would be after leaving Georgia and finding a home in Alabama that the two would merge. Since then, Boondock has been a member and founder of Kuriouz Mindz Muzik which consisted of several talented artist. While working with this particular crew, local recognition was gained, several projects and collaborations with surrounding area artists/producers were recorded. On Montgomery Alabama's Hot 105, Mista Knoname, which Boondock was a member of, gained recognition after airing "From da Grit to the Grain" on it's local Homegrown segment. Since then Boondock has performed as a solo artist and recorded three album/demo projects entitled, "Coming Out", "Holla from da Bottom", and "Superstar With No Applause". Currently, Boondock is recording a mixtape project which hasn't been titled yet. Songs from this project can be heard on jango.com, indabamusic.com, and myspace.com/boondockholmes.
