About Cold Steel
Omaha, NE
Cold Steel is a hard rock band based in Omaha, Nebraska. The band was formed in 2005, when its members were 12-15 years old. Currently, the band features 19-year old Alex DiBaise on lead vocals and rhythm guitar; his twin brother Matt DiBaise on lead guitar and 17-year old Gage McClain on drums.
Cold Steel's debut CD was released in May 2008. Cold Steel's video for their second single, "Stuck", was chosen among nearly a thousand entries by Fuse on Demand and featured nationwide on DirecTV and on-demand cable systems for the month of September 2008.
In October 2009, the band released a new EP, "See You Again". The EP was helmed by Grammy-nominated producer Tom Tatman (Stone Sour). "Forgotten Tragedy", a song from the new EP, was released to the Rock Band network for worldwide gameplay on August 16, 2010.
A compilation CD, "First Five" was released by Sweet Sounds/Republic Records worldwide in October 2010.
The band is currently in the studio recording a full-length CD scheduled for release in 2011.
