The Cool and Deadly is a group of friends who have been recording and playing live togethe
since the late nineties. Experimenting with different rhythms from reggae, rock, metal, dub,dancehall, afro-rock, Cape Verdean Creole music and Colombian Cumbia music, they have tastefully mashed it all together into a gritty Fuzz-Rock Reggae sound thathas an infectious rhythm and will definitely make you step and make your gal wind her waist. Between the hard hitting reggae drums, the steady percussive guitar that keeps you, the heavy basslines penetrating your chest cavity while being ripped to shreds by the razor sharp guitar solos it can go from heavy dub to heavy rock. If your thinking sunshine reggae @ the resort you are mistaken; The Cool and Deadly sound more like a reggae switchblade than a spliff in the sun. Remember there are no palm trees in Brooklyn.
