Fuego Calma also known as Albert Polanco Born a Queens,NY native new yorican proudly brings his puerto rican style and culture into every song he does. Representing a movement by latinos everywhere in entertainment & business. Fuegos unique billingual flow and his passionate production of a reggaeton / hip hop mix is creating a buzz in the independent latino artist world. Fuego Calma now owns and runs his own Independent record label , Meneate Music ,as well as a online portal/magazine/radio staion . Fuego on top of Producing , writing ,and performing his own music,Fuego designs his own artwork and websites and does so professionally for others.Fuego Calma has been on Univisions Despierta San Diego , Opened for Twista In June 2008 was to be apart of the Source Magazine Unsigned Hype Tour for MTV Tres and the Source Magazine.Fuego Calma was just selected to be apart of a showcase with Power Moves Music before the Latin Grammys that will take place Nov 2008 and will attend the Latin Grammys in Houston Tx. Fuego is slated to appear in several magazines such as True Magazine ,Billboard Magazine Down Latino and others.Fuego Calma takes the Reggaeton genre and makes it his own changing the typical rhythm heard in reggaeton everywhere called "dembow" and mixes it with a latin sounding flavor of hip hop . Fuego Calma started his own independent label and online portal site called Meneate Music and with the first commercial release called "Somos Latino" featuring artist such as " Voltio ,Maestro,Bimbo,Fantazma,Temperamento,Kufa Castro,Maximo,Area 51,Kitana,Turcho G ,Black Labol,,Yanel El Pirata,Boricua,& others ,bringing latinos together from east to west PR ,DR to Venezuela and beyond Fuego Calma is a jack of all trades he writes his own songs, produces his own beats, records himself and even does his own graphic and web design. It is his self reliance that makes him not mearly just an another latino artist looking to make it but a brand that will be around for a long time to come . Fuego Calma is driven and passionate about his music, as an independent artist and latino in the music business. Growing up on prodominatly Salsa ,and Merengue later introduced to Reggaeton and Hip Hop Fuego Calma loves his spanish roots ,his people and his music.
