About Griddy-Loc

Toledo, OH

Coming right out of Toledo, Ohio, this artist likes to consider himself unique. Using hip-hop as a scapegoat for his inner thoughts and creativity Griddy-Loc developed his skill of rhyming at the tender age of 16 in high school. Although never mastering his craft until later he found himself always writing poetry into lyrical form. Inspired by the likes of Eminem, Ma$e and a new rapper named Kanye West at the time, Griddy decided to speak from his experiences and put them into songs. Coming from a town where Griddy felt females never gave him the time of day, played games, and never felt him, he thought he should share this in his music. At first taking the Eminem approach was too aggressive so he mixed his style and a little of Eminem together to make his first album Mission Impossible Vol. 1 Once this album was created, Griddy looked back at the club songs and the love songs he had and wasn't satisfied with the message he was getting across because it didn't define him as a person. Griddy then decided to make the mixtape called 26 year old virgin vol.1 to clearly make it known of who he is. Songs on this mixtape parodies industry beats but at the same time showcases his creativity as a whole along with great lyricism. "What you know" and "I Killed Cupid" are two of Griddy's faves from alyrical standpoint. Currently taking a celibacy plea and working on his 27 and 28 year old virgin mixtapes Griddy still writes original tracks but keeps them in a vault for future reference. Griddy-loc is for real and any label who signs him will be very powerful once they do. Griddy also has a Channel on youtube with new shows about to premiere call "BBN Presents" just giving his 2 cents on many topics from politics to nipple slips.
