Happy Retro Girl

I'm not a band or a performer. I am a songwriter, but not really into being a "singer-songwriter".

I set out in life to be the next Carole King-- the Carole King BEFORE "Tapestry"...The one who wrote all the hits and got to hear them recorded by everyone else.

Today I aspire to the success of a Diane Warren.

So what you hear from me are my demos, the best damn demos I can make without any help from better musicians than I, better producers than I, better vocalists than I, and basically all of the above who could take my songs and make them sound more like "today".

I've struggled in this lifetime with the Karma of "never being heard, never being listened to." So I'm here hoping that my retro style will have some appeal to folks who still like a sophisticated melody and a beginning-middle-and-end-of-story lyric that comes straight from the heart.

And mostly, I'm here with the hope that someone in the biz will bring my songs to the attention of someone who needs original material and who's blessed with the ears and a visionary mind that can hear the hit behind my arrangement.
