J Stubbs Beatz

J Stubbs began playing piano and keyboard at his father’s church at the young age of 6. As a musician for the church he started to explore various instruments. The extent of his talents range from wood winds to percussion to piano and keyboard. He used his keyboard to record instrumentals having his friend’s lace lyrics over them. Before advancing to a higher educational setting, he manufactured projects for various local artists. Graduating from West Carteret High School in 2004 he enrolled in Livingstone College to further his musical talents. While at Livingstone College his musical ear developed. As a band member he gained experience in understanding musical placement. With this understanding he became aware of the diverse sounds. While continuing to pursue his musical interest he found his own company, J Stubbs Music Group (ASCAP). He co-founded Breakin’ Out Entertainment (B.O.E.). This is where the Legend unfolds!
