Lemon Hill

Lemon Hill is a four-piece band from Gainesville, Florida. Nick and Gabe had been long time friends since even before high school where their musical tastes began to blend during car trips to and from their school in Miami. Gabe graduated and left to the University of Florida just two years before Nick would do the same. Once there, they both decided to begin constructing and perfecting their own unique sound. The final product was not Lemon Hill but a much smaller (and lacking) form, which they eventually got fed up with and went searching for band mates. By almost divine convenience, Gabe’s roommate Tom Moccia was an excellent bassist who did not have a band at the time and readily accepted their request to join. Gabe had also come in contact with drummer Ricardo Mejilla through a campus organization and invited him to play as well. Ricardo and Tom’s own styles started permeating through the original ideas and left Nick and Gabe in awe at the sheer size of this new expansion. Lemon Hill began playing together in the winter of 2008. Its sound can be found scaling the peaks of the Andes Mountains or nestling itself below a hammock. It's got a cerebral vacuum on one end and a meat grinder on its tail. If found, please return it as soon as possible. Thank you.
