Lycanthrope

About Lycanthrope

Vacaville, CA

A brief history of the band: We first came together and formed the group in 2003, with our original line-up including brothers-in-arms David Barrie, Chris Patton and Daniel DeBruler under the name Corpse Haven. We went through two drummers, Alan Sevier and Kelly McCann, before we came upon Mark Davis in the Summer of 2006; with the addition of Josh Tyler in June 2006, we changed our name to Lycanthrope and began performing shows in our hometown. In June '07, Dan left the band for college and Tim Cooper was brought in to play bass. After an uneventful year, the band recorded its debut EP “Tales of the Apocalypse” in the smokey summer of 2008. That same summer Josh called it quits for personal reasons, which lead to Tim taking over the guitar until a permanent replacement could be found. As of September '08, Cory Knudson took over guitar duties, and Tim returned to playing bass, until his spot was left vacant upon his departure for the Army.
