MileStone Studios is a brand new recording studio in the heart of Murrieta, (Riverside County), halfway between San Diego and LA. The facility is founded, owned and operated by Wesley Cole Switzer and Niklas Karlsson.

Primarily a mixing facility, the studio offers bands and artists a wide array of options; from ground level production upward, and on to aiding musicians in achieving their sonic goals. While Wesley and Niklas are both Berklee College of Music alumni, they each offer unique benefits while in the studio. Niklas provides a background of classical composition and harmonic knowledge second to none; and as a session guitarist originally from Sweden, his talents are indisputable. Wesley Cole Switzer has grown up in the studio, acting as a producer and recording engineer. While engineering in Boston at Firefly Recording Studios, Wesley also studied as a bassist with top noted bassists including Matthew Garrison of the Herbie Hancock Band, and Anthony Wellington of the Victor Wooten Band. His production techniques generate natural, punchy sounds that cater to Pop, Rock, Funk, Soul, Hip/Hop, Blues, R&B, and Jazz.

Together, Niklas and Wesley have opened a studio which offers a relaxed atmosphere and reasonable rates while maintaining results that can compete with the best studios. Our client list is extensive, and spans ALL genres from hip-hop, to country and back to jazz. Amenities for our long distance clients are also provided, including housing while you are in the midst of your session. We look forward to working with you!
