About Night Messenger

Sacramento, CA

Night Messenger - The Band
What gives Night Messenger its distinctive style is experience. The band has seasoned players that have worked with a variety of major artists; and who have recorded at studios such as San Francisco’s Auto-Mat. The band relies heavily on melodic phrasing and a strong rhythm section. What you hear is a clear and unbroken reflection of seventies & eighties music written for today

Brad Haskell provides much of the material on this first album and he has a great sense of melody coupled with good stories. His guitar solos are clear and distinct without becoming boring.

Michael Cantrall is the master behind a slew of guitar synthesizers that provides a distinctive variety to the band's sound.

Ben Fuentes is the bottom end bass player that writes two of the songs on this album.

Saving the best for last is drummer Rob Beltram, whose solid playing adds the final ingredient to Night Messengers distinctive sound.

One thing that you will notice about the album is that most of the songs are over four minutes long. This band is long winded for a reason.

There's lots of good playing on each song and the band felt no reason to cut them short. So enjoy the ride and satisfaction that comes from good, strong music.
