Outlet:
A form of self expression. A way to release your emotions.
That's how I like to view the musik I make: Something that will inspire you, something you can connect to. If not, then I failed ultimately.
Outlet was created as my solo project in the summer of 2007. I was very influenced by NIN at the time, so I pulled together a live lineup after recording a 6 track EP by myself.
After that, I tried collaboration and it ended up ruining pretty much all of my relationships with the band members. Only a little bit of good came out of it.
Ever since then, I've stuck to writing, composing, and recording all by myself. Along with a revolving door of musicians for the lineup...though I'd really like to play musik with my close friends again.
Eventually this profile will disappear and I'll have a new band on here. Due to the fact that there are too many bands on iTunes with the name of Outlet...
The musik I'll be creating in the future will still be like Outlet, but just more electronic and not so much metal. If at all.
The metal portion of Outlet will be transfered to my new Alt. Prog. Metal band, Död Spyndel.
But in the meantime, please spread the word of Outlet's Eclipse album. I'm sure it will touch many people's lives.
