Kevin Dewayne is a hot artist emerging out of Texas and looking to make a big impact on the hip hop music scene. Born Kevin Mayfield and raised in Fort Worth, Texas in the Carter Park neighborhood Kevin Dewayne has been waiting on his chance to introduce himself to the world. He has a style all his own with a voice and stage presence that demands attention. Kevin Dewayne was a part of the rap group Play Boi and Six which split in late 2006 making this Kevin Dewayne’s first attempt to step out of his former group’s shadow. Feeling the need to close that chapter in his career and move on, Kevin Dewayne changed his name from Play Boi to Play Beezy/Kevin Dewayne! “It’s like a new beginning for me! I have stepped up my game and I’m ready to get it!” Kevin Dewayne is no stranger to performing live! He has rocked stages from Texas, to Atlanta, and all the way from Nashville to Chicago! “I love performing and giving the people a show!
