This is the Sea, released May 2010, is Sarah Kenyvn's debut album. A truly solo effort, this multi-instrumentalist wrote, performed, arranged, produced, engineered and mixed all the tracks in her little studio in Toronto.

born at home on Withrow Street in Toronto. My sister was the first to hold me. Grew up in the country, had many invisible friends, saw faeries, played on hay bails. My mother - a singer, my father - a writer, in their spare time, and hearts.
Left home at 17 to work in Zimbabwe. Wandered aimlessly. Started many things… Worked for non-profits, for corporations, for the government, for myself. Studied Chinese medicine, environmental science, meditation and the human brain. Learned to dance, to fight, to stretch, to sew. Learned to appreciate my mother’s breathing lessons.
Spent a lot of time getting comfortable in my skin and the last 12 years making this album.
