About SazE

Somerset, NJ

"It's hard for up and comers now, you know? Everybody raps now ain't even necessarily good competition it's more so that because of all the bullshit being put out, no body wants to listen anymore"-Saz.É

On January 31st, 1992 at 2:46 PM in New Brunswick, New Jersey, Saz.É-real name Osaze Akerejah-was born to Daniel Akerejah, a Nigerian politician and business man and Toni Samuels, an American corporate worker from New Jersey. The family lived in Franklin Township, a section of Somerset, NJ, off of Demott Lane where he was brought up with two older brothers, one of which being severely autistic and epileptic. As he grew up he became known as the fun loving, adorable, yet charismatic "little one" of the family.
He experienced music at the age of 3, as his eldest brother brought NaS into his life, with his landmark debut 1994 album 'Illmatic'; this was Saz.É's first hip-hop experience. With time passing hip-hop continued to enter his life, through the likes of Jay-Z. Saz.É recalls his brother forcing him to stay downstairs and listen to Reasonable Doubt and Hard Knock Life. When he turned six he adopted his first rap name, O-Man, which now a days he refers to as "corny". His first rhyme was "yo, why you messing with the O-Man, yo why you messing with the O-Man".
He stayed close to rap as he grew up, through his days as an outcast in elementary school, through his parents' ugly divorce in 6th and 7th grade(where he adopted his current stage name, Saz.É), and into his prime in high school. 8th grade brought about the forming of FTD, which then was F-Town Dips, as time grew all the original members (Free-Ez, Yung Na, Saz.É., Crisis, Misz Lyricist, Black Out, and Fresh) grew up in terms of lyrics, different members departed (Misz Lyricist, Fresh, Blackout, Crisis) and arrived (Lil' Z and J-Skillz) into the faction. Sadly, the group dissolved in 2009 due to undisclosed reasons. Most the members still remain close with Saz.É.
At the age of 18, he has 6 rhyme books filled with lyrics, which he endearingly titles "The M.C. Scroll Series" and book 7 is currently being filled. This bio fills up everyday, as Saz.É. grows and strives for stardom.
"Nobody's begging for a deal or anything, but it sure would be nice [laughs]. Really though, I'm just trying to remain myself as my music grows, and God-willing, I'll grow with it and not lose sight of who I really am within the grand scheme of things. If this shit takes off!"

Saz.É's first solo mixtape DjFreeEz Presents..."Saz.E's The Little Black Boxx" is out now!
