Formed in 2006 by three musical chaps who happened to stumble upon each other out in LA, SoundMasons started as (and still is) a garage band. They began by jamming regularly, slowly blending a melange of so-called "genres" into one simple sound. With words and guitars provided by the Erthman, thundering drums from Malo JR, and bumping Bass from J.Rocc, the band was christened SoundMasons. A brotherhood of musicians. Thier prime goal? To spread a message of life and love.

Between 2007 and 2008, the band went on haitus for lack of space to play. Erthman continued to write with J.Rocc in the Mid-City, awaiting the discovery of a place to practice. Lo and behold another musician appeared upon the stage of life! Solomon was welcomed into the group in 2008 to play guitar. Space was secured and the band began practicing regularly, finally settling back into another cozy garage...

With a few shows under thier belt and the departure of Solomon in late 2008, The SoundMasons reorganized for 2009. A trio once again, The SoundMasons have played live regularly since January, completed an EP record at the Manor Studios in August and are back in the garage right now, burning CD's and writing this bio....
