Born on Chicago's South Side, I was weaned on latin, jazz, blues, folk and ethnic music of every kind. Living in a big city brings the whole world to your door and let's you learn to appreciate it all. Since then I've swung in St. Louie, played on Bourbon Street, Merengued in Miami and rocked it down at biker bashes, and on Sundays, oh on Sundays, I fall down on my knees and sing gospel for deliverance. Brazilian and African Drums do not let me be still and yet the sweet cello and French horn can woo me as well. I am the most disloyal of all musical groupies, and I love it. Vive la difference!
