TruthCity, aka Ronald Evans was born November 22nd (Thanksgiving Day) in West Palm Beach, Florida . His name derives from a combination of the nickname his mother gave him (Truth) and the muslim philosophy that the mind is a city. His mother ,as a single parent, raised Ronald to be the best at whatever it is that he did. At the age of six years old, he began writing lyrics which now at 18 his songwriting ranges in such genres as Pop, Rock, Rap,Country and R&B. Often citing Jay Z as his inspiration, TruthCity began making a name for himself after winning local contests in the State of Virginia and also winning BET's 2nd Annual Blaze the Stage (1st place for HipHop) receiving a standing ovation and 7 perfect score sheets from judges Chrisette Michelle, Fat Joe, Cassidy, Keyshia Cole, Juelz Santana,Donavon Knowles and Supa-producers Armadeus and Ryan Leslie. TruthCity later went on to win 106&Park's Wild Out Wednesday.Now working on promoting his very first single "Red Light Special" ,as a rising star and a potential music icon,TruthCity plans to impact the world.
