PlayA Florida Afternoon's Winter Wanderings

by Hummingbird, Two Flutes and Whitewolf

A remix of an impromptu session that occurred one afternoon at the Serious Sound Studio in west central Florida. The temperature outside may have fallen into the low 20s but it was a much different cold than up north. Besides, we didn't have any of that white stuff they get up north in the winter. ;o)

p.s. It would be great to do one with you, Dali. We should come up with a soft melody we can sort of pass back and forth between us then have Cathy sing between the flute lines. Yes?

Wado, everyone. I'm the one fiddling a bit on the git-fiddle while John Two Flutes is playing a high E river cane and Sybille Hummingbird a mid to low E yellow cedar flute.

You were close, Dali. The E and D flute combos often sound like the same key to me and one can often use either flute though one would be limited to its upper or lower register.

Beautiful, my friend ! Sounds like a high D and Low D combination which is always my favorite to do. Perhaps one day we will do one together !!
