Really simple thing to make the guitar fit the piece. Have your guitar player turn down their volume knob. Have the sustain reduced on the distortion. Place reverb on that guitar solo, and you will get a fade out of the guitar note... and into the verb. I call this ghosting.
It will be more pretty, and fit your voice nicely.
Love your voice, and love the arrangement and the strings. I personally think the EGs are a little much.

I like the pop sound intro on this piece... Thought it was about to go heavier then, it suddenly went major progression with a cute little pop lullaby-like melody before adding the elec guit lead-over... I thought that was a nice touch but, not sure it fits for a softrock song... Sort of in between... Nice work though and loved the vocal...
Good voice, great job! I think the artwork could be more eye catching somehow to fit the music (the photo is great, but the design looks too simple)... just a thought!
