The video is meant to get people thinking, "what if this were us?" Honestly you're the first person that hasn't understood the coorelation. Everything in the video is modeled after actual testimonies and footage taken from Free Burma Rangers stories and footage, the creative liberty taken with combining separate stories into one family, as well as how the actions were carried out. As to the quality we were a last minute addition with a week to come up with this, and several connections that would have made this more realistic fell through. Also we had to use some pretty basic camera equiptment and not anything HD, as well as some difficulties with the sound. But enough of my excuses, I hope that clears some stuff up for you and that you support the Burmese in their struggle for freedom right now, the point was awareness and if that point was made you can call the video what you want. Peace!
For sure, people in Burma are oppressed under a dictature, but I can't see the relation with this video: it just shows violence, and it could happen in many countries of the world. As Burma is in Asia, you could have chosen asian people to perform. A bad video for a good cause!
